The X8 Hybrid, like many robotic vacuums has some issues with flooring that is not clean. It is prone to miss pet hair and other small items, and it tends to get into things, like its own charger that sits on its base of its charging. It's not as quiet, and the whirring sound could be distracting as other models.
Roborock V3S pro
The robot doesn't come with as many features as the more expensive ones we've tested, but it does cover the basics. It has a large enough dust bin that can hold plenty of dirt until it's empty and its vacuum and mop system is perfect for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It is also very quiet. We were able watch TV while it cleaned without feeling as though we were being constantly bombarded by noise.
Our testers were very impressed by how simple the machine was to use and set up. They also appreciated the ability to clean all the messes that had accumulated on their flooring. It was successful in cleaning pet hair, messes and carpeting, but it was a bit more difficult at removing stubborn stains.
